GLOBAL WARDOGS LEAGUE — CODE OF CONDUCT

The Global WarDogs League (GWL) exists to provide a competitive, fair and welcoming environment for clans and players from across the global WarDogs community.

Competition will get heated. Rivalries will develop. Matches will be intense. That’s part of what makes competitive play exciting.

But when the fighting stops, respect comes first.

By participating in the Global WarDogs League, all clans, players, staff and representatives agree to uphold the following standards.

Respect the Community

Treat players, opponents, organisers, officials and fellow community members with respect.

Rivalries and competitive banter are encouraged, but harassment, discrimination, hate speech, personal attacks, threats or deliberately targeting or humiliating others will not be tolerated.

Competitive banter is part of gaming. Personal abuse or attacks are not.

Fight hard. Win with class. Lose with dignity.

Compete With Integrity

Every clan and player is expected to compete fairly.

Cheating, hacking, match manipulation, intentional exploitation of serious bugs, account sharing, stream sniping or any other attempt to gain an unfair competitive advantage is strictly prohibited.

Victory should come from skill, preparation, teamwork and execution.

If you’re going to win, earn it.

Represent Your Clan

When participating in the Global WarDogs League, you represent more than yourself.

Your behaviour reflects on your clan, teammates and the wider league.

Clan leadership is responsible for setting expectations within their own community and ensuring that players representing their clan understand and follow the GWL Code of Conduct.

Wear your clan’s name with pride and represent it accordingly.

No Player Poaching

The Global WarDogs League respects the identity, rosters and recruitment efforts of every participating clan.

Clans, representatives and players must not actively attempt to recruit or entice players who are currently registered with another GWL clan to leave that clan and join their own.

Repeated unsolicited recruitment, private approaches designed to undermine another clan, offering incentives to switch teams, or deliberately targeting another clan’s roster will be considered player poaching and may result in League action.

Keep Match Communications Professional

League-related communications should remain clear, respectful and constructive.

This includes match organisation, fixture discussions, disputes, official Discord channels and communication with League Staff.

Disagreements happen. Arguments do not need to become personal.

If something cannot be resolved between clans respectfully, raise it with GWL Staff and allow the proper process to handle it.

Respect League Officials

League Admins, Referees, Casters and other GWL Staff are here to keep competition organised, fair and enjoyable.

If an official steps in, cooperate respectfully.

You are always entitled to question or appeal a decision through the appropriate channels, but abuse, harassment or intimidation of League Staff will not be tolerated.

Challenge the decision if necessary. Don’t attack the person making it.

Protect Competitive Integrity

Do not deliberately disclose confidential information that could compromise a clan, player, fixture or competition.

This may include private match communications, unreleased league information, administrative discussions or information shared confidentially with League Staff.

Likewise, do not fabricate, manipulate or deliberately misrepresent evidence when raising a dispute or complaint.

The League relies on trust between its clans, players and officials.

Keep the Community Safe

Explicit sexual content, real-world gore, doxxing, credible threats, malicious links, piracy, cheats or other content that could put members or the League community at risk is prohibited within official GWL spaces.

Never share another person’s private or identifying information without their permission.

Respect the Rules

All participating clans and players are expected to follow the GWL Ruleset, competition format and any official instructions relating to fixtures, rosters, eligibility, servers and match procedures.

Clans may maintain their own internal rules and standards, but when participating in official GWL competitions or spaces, GWL rules and policies apply.

Attempting to deliberately circumvent the spirit of a rule through technicalities may still be treated as a breach of competitive integrity and could result in a warning or dismissal from the league.

Handle Disputes Properly

Disputes should be raised through the appropriate GWL channels rather than fought out publicly.

Where possible, clans should attempt to resolve minor issues respectfully between their representatives.

For formal disputes, provide the relevant information and evidence to League Staff and allow them to investigate.

Do not organise public pile-ons, harassment campaigns or attempts to pressure officials into a particular decision.

Bring evidence, not drama.

Clan Leadership & Responsibility

Clan leaders and designated representatives act as the primary point of contact between their clan and the League.

They are expected to communicate responsibly, help resolve issues involving their players and work constructively with League Staff and other clans.

Repeated misconduct from members of the same clan may result in action being taken against the clan as well as the individuals involved.

Being part of the GWL means taking responsibility for the community you bring into it.

Build the League Together

The Global WarDogs League is being built by its community.

Clans will compete against one another fiercely, but we all share responsibility for creating a league worth competing in.

Help new clans. Share constructive feedback. Support good competition. Respect volunteers. Celebrate great plays, even when they’re made against you.

We want rivalries.

We want competition.

We want clans desperate to beat each other when the match begins.

But when the match ends, we’re still one community.
